Dr. Gagan Kohli - DDS, MS
Dr. Gagan Kohli completed his Masters from University of Alabama,Birmingham and has been practicing dentistry in California since 2002. He is Invisalign and Laser Dentistry certified. He believes in listening to all his patients and their needs and to treat them with the best possible care. He wants his patients to leave the office knowing that they have a friend in him.
When not practicing dentistry he enjoys arts, watching movies and traveling. He has traveled around Europe, East Asia and Mexico. He has a wonderful wife who is a Nephrologist practicing in Bay Area and a beautiful daughter and son.
Dr. Katie Fogarty - DMD
Dr. Katie received her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from UCLA. Then she went on to complete her dental training in University of Pennsylvania and General Practice Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She believes in kindness: being sympathetic to her patients' fears and anxieties, hearing their needs, and providing them with the best care possible.
She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and has live in the Bay Area with her husband since 2012 to be closer to family. In her spare time, she goes all around town with her two-year-old son. She enjoys cooking, hiking, and snowboarding.
Larissa - RDA Director of Operations
Larissa began her dental career in 2011 and now serves as our Director of Operations. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day management of our dental offices, ensuring every detail runs smoothly—from patient care to staff coordination. Larissa is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming environment for patients while fostering a culture of collaboration, balance, and strong team chemistry among staff. She believes that when the team thrives, patients receive the best possible care.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Larissa treasures spending time with her family and raising her daughters. Outside of work, she enjoys movies, music, great food, and exploring the outdoors.
Kim - RDH Hygienist
Kim Anabo is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Alameda Family Dental Group, dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She strives to provide gentle, personalized care in a comfortable and welcoming environment where every patient feels heard and at ease. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, I’ve spent most of my life in Alameda. She’s happily married to her best friend, and when she has the opportunity, she loves traveling and exploring new places. She looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy smile for years to come!
Susana - RDH Hygienist
Susana Gutierrez is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Alameda Family Dental Group. She began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant before advancing to become a dental hygienist, giving her a comprehensive understanding of clinical care. Susana takes pride in maintaining a calm, relaxing environment to help patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring new places and finding peaceful ways to unwind.
Andrea - RDA Lead Assistant
Andrea Alfano is the Lead Registered Dental Assistant at Alameda Family Dental Group, bringing extensive, long-term expertise in dental assisting to the practice. She is deeply passionate about patient care and thrives on helping everyone feel completely comfortable and at ease in the dental chair. Outside the clinic, Andrea enjoys baking, crafting, and watching movies in her free time. She is also an enthusiastic animal lover who actively participates in an international hamster enthusiast group.
Daniel - RDH
Daniel Raanes is a Registered Dental Hygienist at Alameda Family Dental Group, bringing extensive clinical experience to the team. With a professional background spanning several years in dentistry as both a dental assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist, he possesses a comprehensive, well-rounded understanding of patient care. Daniel is dedicated to providing thorough, gentle treatment while ensuring patients feel completely comfortable and informed throughout every visit.
Anna - Office Manager
Anna Rivera brings extensive, long-term expertise in dental office management to the team. She creates a welcoming environment and ensures a seamless, stress-free experience for patients from check-in to check-out. Anna loves helping patients navigate their treatment plans with confidence and clarity. Outside the clinic, she enjoys making memories with her husband and their two boys.
